  • ALR is currently accepting submissions for the Fall 2024 Symposium issue: Access to Justice. This issue will explore the various barriers Alaskans, particularly rural Alaskans and Alaska Natives, face throughout the civil and criminal justice systems as a result of Alaska’s unique geography, history, and legal doctrine. 
  • Deadline: August 1, 2024

The Alaska Law Review is a scholarly publication dedicated to the examination of legal issues affecting the state of Alaska.

ALR welcomes manuscript submissions concerning legal topics specifically relevant to Alaska. This does not mean, however, that we are interested only in state law issues; ALR also seeks articles concerned with federal issues of special importance to Alaska.

Authors will receive two copies of the issue in which his or her article appears.

Authors should adhere to the linked guidelines when submitting manuscripts.
